Neat.

A running Scirocco at that. Impressive!

And it’s using a turn signal. In Alabama it doesn’t matter what kind of car, if the turn signal is used that an accomplishment

I know. I figured that none of them were still running.

In my experience, most use their turn signals. At least on my commute.

Downtown Bham/Homewood might just be different. In Nashville they use them everywhere but Nashville and Brentwood(the Homewood of Nashville)

Odd cars, I like them.

I can’t find the production numbers, but the 16vs are hard to find.

I’ve seen that Scirocco before, or one very similar around my neighborhood. It amazes me every single time I see it (because it’s still running).

I wasn’t expecting it, but turns out, I know the owner.

Oh, wow. That’s really cool! I thought it was the one I saw because I believe that this one is at the Green Valley/280 intersection (I may be wrong).

When did you see it?

Last time was on Saturday.

Ausgezeichnet! First car I ever drove was an ‘82 Rabbit. God, how I lusted after the Scirocco. It was sort of like dating the pretty girl next door, but secretly lusting after her smoking hot sister.

I knew the Scirocco existed, but I’d never seen one. I figured they were all rusted away and gone. But I shouldn’t be surprised to see one, because after all, there’s an F40 and an Enzo in town as well as a multitude of new McLarens and other cars.
